I am a graduate of E.J. Lajeunesse High School. Since graduating, I have been attending the University of Waterloo pursuing a Honours degree in Chemical Engineering. I have interests in producing biomaterials and sustainable alternatives for plastic. I have been interested in this field since I was 15, and I have been able to further discover the possibilities that this career has. I am interested in developing biomaterials that can be used in the medical field, such as vaccine manufacturing and nanotechnology for medicine. I also am interested In developing polymers and materials that can replace plastic, which would be helpful in the war on climate change and making our way of life more sustainable.
