Clinton Tynes

✨#HADSCscholarshipspotlight: Clinton Tynes✨

My name is Clinton Tynes, and I am a graduate of St. Thomas of Villanova High School in the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board. I am attending Mohawk College for their Aircraft Maintenance program. In the future, I aspire to be a commercial airline pilot and an aircraft mechanic, and fly around the world and represent my Black culture in the world of aviation. I am currently studying and training to obtain my private pilot's license so I can get a head start on my flight progress. I am so excited to begin my journey in aviation, and I hope to set an example for other young Black people and let them know that they can do anything they put their mind to.

I am committed to both my community and my education. I have participated in school musicals, volunteered at the Amherstburg Freedom Museum in Windsor, and helped organize and participate in three Remembrance Day ceremonies at my school. These experiences have strengthened my leadership, confidence, and sense of responsibility. This bursary would ease the financial challenges of pursuing flight training and maintenance costs and help me move closer to my goal of becoming a pilot who inspires greater representation in aviation.

🌟Clinton Tynes received the 2026 top scholarship, the Eleanor Patricia Alexander Scholarship of $3500.🌟

🌟Congratulations, Clinton Tynes!🌟
