It is with great excitement the ladies of The Hour-A-Day Study Club announce The Hour-A-Day Study Club’s 90th Anniversary Celebration & Fundraiser. Our esteemed guest speaker will be former Governor General of Canada, The Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean. Please join us for a night of celebrating the Windsor-Essex Black community, The Hour-A-Day Study Club’s ninety years of advocacy, and honouring our 2024 scholarship & bursary recipients.
Over the last nine decades, The Hour-A-Day Study Club has tirelessly worked to support Windsor-Essex’s Underground Railroad Descended students with scholarship funds, but much more robustly, combating systemic anti-Black racism within Windsor-Essex and throughout the African diaspora. It is only with the support of folks like you, that we have continued to do so for ninety years! Please join us for a memorable event. A silent auction and raffle will take place, be sure to bring your cash.
